Somple started as a side project for a bourbon club that kept growing. It became a platform for every kind of sompling community.
It started the way most good things do — with friends around a table, a few pours of something worth talking about, and a conversation that went late into the night.
What began as a casual bourbon club quickly grew. More members, more events, more moving pieces. We tried spreadsheets, group chats, social media pages, Eventbrite links — nothing quite fit. Every tool was built for something else and it showed.
So we built the tool we wished existed. Something that understood what a sompling club actually needs: a place to organize, a way to collect dues, a simple page members could visit to see what's next. Not a social network. Not event software. Something purpose-built.
